In response to reader demand, I recently published the second edition of Phoenix Aglow. It has been expanded from 7k to 15k! Amazon is supposed to have sent an email to everyone who bought it from them, offering a free updated version.

How do you know if you have the second edition or not? The old version had 4 chapters. The new one has 14. More action, more steam, plus a glimpse into Beverly’s family dynamics. When a fired employee seeks revenge, Bev’s younger brother Luis helps Lincoln rescue her and discovers Linc’s shocking secret.

If you have any difficulty getting the second edition of Aglow from Amazon, please say so in the comments. I will make sure you get your free ebook!

Please post your jigsaw times too. And once you’ve read Ed. 2, tell me what you thought of Beverly’s brother Luis.

“You’re getting a major security upgrade Monday morning,” Lincoln told her. “Consider it a wedding present.”

“That’s some romantic gift, D’Angelo,” Beverly drawled.

“Thank you. We’re going to start with putting in a proper fire escape.”

Beverly chuckled against his skin. “I was being sarcastic, Lincoln.”

“Oh. Keeping you safe is not romantic?”

She was very quiet in the darkness, except for a few sniffles. Finally she spoke, “I need to blow my nose.”

He squirmed around and grabbed a handful of tissues from the box. “Here you go.”

“I got you wet.”

“I don’t melt.”

“You know, on second and third thoughts, wanting me to be safe is very romantic.”

“I thought so.” When you came right down to it, a happy ever after depended on keeping your mate safe.

Her mouth sought his in the darkness. He returned her kiss softly, not sure if this was just a good-night salute, or the start of fireworks.
